all the bugs in 4.4 are caused by the latest Neo reader 2.0

I have posted about two major issues of 4.4 firmware on Boox Max
1. auto activated note scribble every time the device wake up with Neo 2.0 opened.
2. problem going to sleep by pressing the power button with Neo 2.0 openend

I experienced #1 on 1.8.2 firmware today. I got so curious about the fact that I did an experiment. I flashed 4.4 firmware, rooted it to be able to uninstall Neo 2.0 (Neo Reader v2.0_5461 - bbd7cb5.apk) which is otherwise impossible as it is a system app. Then I installed lower version taken from 1.8.1 firmware (Neo Reader v2.0_4643 - 2ea4397.apk), the one which did not have multiple documents feature. Both issues #1 and #2 were gone

Unfortunately the Kingoroot which I used to root the device is a hog. The device was much slower. To my surprise I saw flood of java exceptions on Android LogCat, indicating that the Kingoroot failed to resolve DNS address even though I had WiFi turned OFF. Sorry I did not save the web address. This is a stupid spy app. I lost my enthusiasm and flashed 1.8.2 firmware again.

I bet this is some race condition bug in the app. The device is single core so it is hard to reproduce but it happened on 1.8.2. The 4.4 firmware must do some callbacks to the app with different timings so the bug is always reproducible. I hope the Neo 2 app can be fixed soon, than I would be happy to use 4.4 firmware.
