I hadn't heard that Kindle was stopping any of the free services associated with the Kindle original release. I had been wary about that possibility but had been pooh-poohed by Kindle fans as something Amazon would never do -- start charging for services that had originally been touted as free. I wonder when Amazon will start charging for wireless access to buy books? That "almost everywhere" wireless access can't be cheap for them to pay for.
