Hi and thanks to everyone for their comments,
I am afraid that side notes will only permit handwritten note as shown in many videos.
Since it is a professional tool I was first expecting SONY had develop a product that would foster process optimization (
not having to type a handwritten correction for instance) and quality improvement (
limiting misreading handwritten note).
I am not saying handwritten notes have no interest. I will be using those also.
If anybody has other specific clues or proof about this feature, I am quite eager to know
