What about using a File management app, where you could drill down to the file, and use the "Open With" option?

That may not be the terminology...I'm not familiar with Android, or with accessing content on a memory card.

If I need to open a book that I have in Dropbox, I'm given a choice of installed apps that are compatible with the book's format. Kindle, or iBooks, or KyBook, etc.
