Well, that went extremely well - much better than I'd hoped for. The two auctions have ended with winning bids of £710 for the iPad Pro, and £345 for the iPad Air 2, so a total of £1055. Take off the 10% eBay fee and that leaves me with £949.50. I paid £1088 for the new iPad Pro + Smart Cover (including the extra £180 I paid to swap the 256GB for the 512GB version), so all in all it'll end up costing me £138.50, which is a very modest outlay for a significant upgrade.

I'm always surprised at how much people are willing to pay for second-hand iPads!
