I asked one question on Amazon. If the Sony App will connect and sync automatically or if I have to press a button. If it connects automatic and sync automatic there is a workaround for me. I have to add a VM to my server with the app on it running. Mobile access via VPN to this machine. Otherwise I'm thinking of canceling the order. The S1 is then the better choice for me.

The RP1 is such a great device but Sony just kills features without thinking.
Can't be that hard to add WebDAV, but Sony maybe doesn't care. With WebDV the RP1 is perfect for me. Mobile Digital Paper... that's what the RP1 means to me.
