I haven't posted any Open Access (in the way that I'm using the terms, they're free) books recently.

I ran across Scandinavian University Press' website earlier today and somehow ended up on a webpage with a selection of OA books. Alas, most are in some foreign (foreign to me) language--some kind of Scandinavian language, I'm sure. But they do have a handful of titles in English. Here's one for you.

India's Democracies: Diversity, Co-optation, Resistance. By Arild Engelsen Ruud & Geir Heierstad. There is a button, even after I translate the webpage, that says "PDF av boka." That might give you the impression that you will get a PDF, but it will be in some language other than English. Not so. The PDF is in English.

The book is not available for sale in the U.S., as far as I can determine; you can only get it free. Wouldn't it be nice if all books were that way?
