I did now and it leads me to some sort of news-feed that doesn't remain static, apparently. It seems to be in german as well, and a quick search for "whole" didn't find anything, probably because it's too far back already.


If it is cleaned off - hereabouts stuff like that (feathers too) remain on the eggs, presumable because it'll give the illusion that it's more "natural" or whatever.
Never really much, though, making me somewhat suspicious. Since I've often seen hardboiled eggs that were colored (using a neutral light brown), I wouldn't be surprised if the eggs were similarly "decorated"...
