the Duck is right, I have both and it's been great. I no longer have the Kindle 1 because I sold it in order to afford the Kindle 2. I really miss my kindle and can't wait for the kindle 2 (mine is shipping on March 2nd). I would go with the Kindle since you already have the PRS-505. I read primarily on the PRS-505, even when I had the Kindle, but I bought most of my books from Amazon. It's the best situation if you can afford both!
