I have a small apartment kitchen where counter space is at a premium. It's nice for me to have a small device that will stick on the fridge that can do unit conversions and (hopefully) timers while I cook. So yeah, still kinda niche but I think nice in general for cooking-related stuff.
We do have a Dot mounted on the wall in the kitchen but it often ends up unplugged because outlets are also at a premium. Sigh.
