One issue I'm having is I tried to add a new OS to it and although I got it working, it is sluggish and slow. I simply can't handle using it anymore. As some of you know, Overdrive and any other apps were no longer supported by Barnes and Noble, that's why I went with a "developers" new OS to try on my Nook.
So now I'm determined to just buy another tablet. I have the newer Fire Tablet 7" but have never enjoyed it, it's just been a quick, cheap fix for me until I could buy something I would love like I did my Nook.
Does anyone relate?? If so, I would love to hear some recommends on something that would be in my price-range of under a hundred dollars. I know that's not a lot these days, but it is what I have to spend.
I am leaning towards another 7" screen (the Nook was actually 7.5). The enclosure measurements are 8 x 5 and I had bought a beautiful "expensive" book cover with the snap in clips. I would love to find something that would fit in that as most of the covers now have these silly rubbery bands and the tablet just flops around in there

Anyway, I really want something with as many bells and whistles as I can get. Something someone else has bought, and loves
