The thing that breaks and kills an eink screen is a thin glass substrata. The eInk "Mobius" display tech. has a plastic substrata. This is especially needed for any large screen that cannot be incased in a rigid mount. If a display is to be handled, it needs to be relatively small or have an unbreakable substrata.

Anyone who pockets their reader should want one with a plastic substrata, whatever its size.
