To use the Calibre "Kindle collections" add-on, your Kindle must be jail broken.
And your Kindle must run an application to process the exported Calibre collections.
In the case of your device, LibrianSync (which requires a jb kindle).

And you must install the Jailbreak BEFORE your Kindle auto-updates to firmware version 5.8.8 or newer.
