Released a new beta with even more UI polishing (2.99.12). Changes:

Make the Saved Searches button give easy access to all saved searches. Also use text in it so that it remains as discoverable as it was before
Collapse all the various show/hide buttons in the status bar into a single button
Make all button styles in the main window flat to match the buttons on the toolbar and generally look more consistent
Make the Alter tag browser and Find buttons a little nicer
Move the clear search button into the search field
Move the advanced search button into the search field
The Collapse all button has been removed from the Tag browser. It is now available in the right click menu of the Tag browser
