I have a 505. Its a great device. I would recommend it.
A neg. Based on your req is it is windows only. The kindle is pc liberated.
If you mostly read at night you might want to consider the EBook Wise 1150. Its back lit and last 15 hour on one charge.
I bought it for my daughter who loves it.
