I just bought one - 3 weeks ago, maybe. My advice: do NOT try to convert your own recipes. This leads to disaster, and causes you to dislike the machine. Instead, search for recipes (there are a ton) that are SIMILAR to what you want to make. Then, convert a little bit. But now you know the correct times and settings.
I'm still working on whether it will help me, as a single person. But it does, at least, have me eating more fresh, or "real" foods, just because it is fun and gadgety.
