I read the thread where it says go to your Kindle folder and I've done that.

But what I mean is how to add new books?

Do we see the whole Kindle collection every time we go there from Calibre? Or just the books Calibre hasn't yet seen?

Because that's what I want of course, just an update.

Because of disk crashes and attempts at backups and conversions and what not my folders, Kindle and Calibre are all in a mess and I don't really know what I've got or where it is:

Would the best thing be to delete all Kindle books and Kindle would let me download them all again?

And do the same with Calibre? Delete all and 'Add' from Kindle again?

And having added them - I have the drm addon - would they be converted immediately or would I then need to convert them again?

I read something that seemed to suggest the Kindle books could download directly into Calibre is what's confusing me.

How to set it all up for smooth operation?
