I *mowed* through books in high school! Paperbacks inside of textbooks. Sat at the front in class, teachers rarely suspected me of malfeasance. You get away with a lot if otherwise a good student, LOL!

I had a friend on Facebook last year ask me what I did with all the books I used to carry home on the bus. He laughed when I said I kept them in my lap or between us to keep the guys hands off me. Or on occasion whacked hands with the books.
And I read them.
Then it clicked that he was the only guy I let sit close.
