A three-book bundle of Sabrina Flynn's The Legends of Fyrsta indie fantasy series is $1.99 (normally $19 without discounts). I enjoyed the series myself, having got the first book free and then bought the other two at full price without being disappointed. I think this is a terrific bargain.

Character development and introspection is more important than in typical swords-and-sorcery and an erotic relationship between two of the main characters is an important plot device. The style is more like Mercedes Lackey or Roberta Gellis and less like David Weber or Terry Brooks.

I think the series is intended to be complete, but I'm not sure. It reads to me like the author wrote the third book with the intention of completing the series, but left things open enough to write another book if she wants.

Finally, since indies are hit-or-miss, the editing is excellent in terms of grammar and narrative flow as well as more mundane things like spelling.
