hm.... not sure what you mean by affiliate to Rakuten. I don't have a Rakuten account and was able to set a pin.

So i have no battery drain issue if the pin is on and the backlight is off. However, if the backlight is on, it never goes to sleep. I think this is more of the 1% backlight battery drain issue that some people are experiencing
