True. I've done it, maybe, twice. It wasn't terrible, just tedious. I've also been running into issues with kindle for PC and calibre. (It's simple enough to fix it, but it makes me less inclined to buy kindle books now.) I like the dedicated super-old kindle idea though.

That said, the sale was already over when I went to look for it.
