Help - Error - Re-installation question/problem
Hey,
So I'm a long time Calibre user who has limited understanding of how Calibre actually works down to the code. My computer ran out of power while Calibre was on. It caused an error that no longer allows me to even open one of the Plugins (Generate Cover).
It says when I attempt to that a "ZeroDivisionError: float division by zero" error.
Long story short. I tried deleting and re-installing the plug-in. I tried deleting and re-installing Calibre. I tried a few of the basic de-bug commands. Even tried to wipe out all traces of the software with a few simple tricks. Stopped short of digging through the registry bc I dont have enough knowledge not to screw something up..
I guess my question is two fold...is there some trick to completely deleting and re-installing calibre? Or am I going to need to try to figure out how to fix it with Python commands?...god I hope not...
PS. if this isn't in the right forum category let me know and I can move it...
Thanks.
