The rule on Amazon is that an individual can only ever download the version he or she bought. If you upload a CORRECTED version, and email KDP Support with the corrections explain, they may inform buyers that a CORRECTED version is available, or send it straightaway to those who have that option selected. But many authors complain that this auto-update is never done. I don't know, because I only improve my books, and Kindle Support is supremely uninterested in improvements.

But yes, you can upload a revision at any time. It will over-ride the original book file on your KDP Bookshelf, and once you hit the Publish button, it will replace the version on the Amazon store. I am forever tweaking and re-publishing my ebooks.

KDP Support will however "push" a new version to your Kindle archives, assuming you have earlier purchased it. (I always do that, so I know exactly what the customer is receiving.)
