Thumbs up Free (DRM-free) Limits by Larry Niven [Science Fiction & Fantasy & Essays Collection]

Limits by Larry Niven (ISFDB, Wikipedia, SFE), a recent SFWA Grand Master Award recipient, is his collection of mixed science fiction and fantasy tales and essays, including several collaborations with other authors and stories in his popular The Magic Goes Away shared universe setting, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Phoenix Pick Press.

This is their featured Free Book of the Month for June. It was originally published in 1985 by Ballantine's Del Rey imprint, and placed 3rd in the 1986 Locus Award listings for Best Collection.

Currently free through the month of June directly @ the publisher's dedicated promo page (DRM-free ePub & Mobi bundle available worldwide; follow the instructions on the webpage to reset the price in the cart to $0.00)

The tie-in offer is for an additional 2 books for $6: Oath of Fealty co-written with Jerry Pournelle, a much-reprinted standalone near-future dystopian sf novel set in an arcology near Los Angeles, originally out in 1981 from Phantasia Press, which has been nominated several times for the Prometheus Award's Hall of Fame for best libertarian science fiction and named to one of those Best 100 SF Novels lists according to Wikipedia entry; plus Red Tide, Niven's entry in Phoenix Pick's Stellar Guild series which pairs an established author with a newer one, writing stories set in the same universe (this has previously been offered free, so you might already have it and could be better off waiting for one of PPP's sporadic single title special offers if you just want the other book).
