Not true.
I have some knowledge of how large and small web sites operate and I assert that that simple page comparison technology will not work with Amazon catalogues.
Those amazon pages are database generated on the fly. they are not static simple text and image places like an amateur hobbyist makes. Just click on show source so see what actually goes on. the images and descriptions are pulled from back end sources. You are not dealing with simple hrml paragraph and img tags
Basically what I would like to know is how often amazon will be rotating their curated offers. Figuring that out by manually tracking some subset of the catalogue is very much a last resort
