Why couldn't you use the jailbreak?
It is not registered to the prior owner.
You have still not answered my question of why you think Kubrick was used on the device.
Your goal of "minimum resources" is not practical.
Just unplug the 3G module if you want to disable it.

Hi there,
I am currently on a stock 3.4.2 therefore I would need to downgrade to 3.4 using the Kubrick Live ISO and then remove the preinstalled jailbreak, should I wish to proceed with that alternative firmware procedure.
Can I still perform a jailbreak if I'm on stock 3.4.2 which is the latest version available for my Kindle 3?
Thanks
