repeat spammy invites to kindle unlimited
i keep getting notifications on my Fire tablet saying please try a free month of KU.
problem is, I did do a trial, then cancelled, a couple of years ago, so my reading of their rules is that I have had my turn already.
yet I keep getting not only the notifications but also banners on the web page apparently saying go on, have another
my question is ( & I tried asking amaozn but they don't seem to undertand the question) is: if you notify me personally of a 30 day trial invite, will you then honour that i.e. is this a genuine offer , or will they bill me on day 1 of saying yes, because I've been here before.
I also re-read the T&C but that failed to clarify .
I am tempted to take the offer if only to stop them spamming me about it - there's no other way to stop the banners and the notifications - but there's nothing on KU that i ma actually desperate to read and I see not easy way to browse through all the dross & the fake five star reviews & the fake 9 page books to find stuff that is actually good
PS when I go to web site -> my account -> My KU is simply says "not currently a member - click here to join "( which I am wary of as it could be a one-click sign up ). it does not say "your membership has expired" or "has been cancelled."
I recall having KU for a month when windows 10 launched so that i could skim read all the "for dummies" etc. books
it is possible but unlikely that I was on a different amazon account then.
I have emailed A. again to ask - am I eligible please either confirm or stop the invites, and please put it in writing as I will dispute any immediate charge once you say its definitely free for 30 days.. we'll see how they respond.
