Smaller than 6" is tough to come by. All the 5" readers that I've heard of are discontinued. On top of that, none of the 5" readers I know of had a high dpi screen.

In the 6" space you might consider a Kobo Aura Edition 2. DPI is 212, and Overdrive support is there.
