Of course, my statement like your is subjective in nature but I'll explain my reasoning behind it.

I like the 505 because of the layout of the device, all the buttons are right where I need them regardless of which hand I use, it's a nice aluminum case and it fits perfectly in my cargo pants side pocket.

Dual memory slots are also a win for me. That's the one thing I wish the current crop of new ebook readers would have.

As for slow, it's a book reader. All I need it to do is display text.

As for not enough system ram, not sure what you mean by that. I'm not running a web browser.

All in all, it's my favorite device and I do have others to compare it to. Most of the new ones are just android devices with e-ink screens which isn't bad but I like the single purpose nature of specialized ebook readers.

Not sure what RMDSK is but it reads like it has something to do with PDFS? If so, yea pdf support isn't the greatest but there's plenty of epubs that fit just fine.

The only thing that mars my experience is the 4 gig limit that was imposed by Sony cause they used a buggy version of mtools in the firmware. I'm still hoping to find a way to get past that in the future however.

It's fine. I regularly select the highest rez covers I can find.

Yes, the default font isn't that great. I should amend my statement to say the 505 is the best once you've put PRS+ on it.

I'm not that familar with the T1, is that the one that only reads PDFs?

You know, I know what you mean about the mirror, the screen overlay isn't that great but I like the 900 because unlike the 505, it read so far, every book I put on the **DUAL** memory slots, so I keep it at home as a reference ebook reader. I like the styling of it but yes, the screen isn't the best but after having used it while I was waiting on my additional 505s, I don't really mind it. To me, I'll suffer a lot if I can have a device with a large library and it's not so bad as to ruin my reading experience.
