I think I can safely say that not a single person on this board thinks less of anyone just because they prefer the Kindle as their reading device. There are people who dislike the Kindle (I for instance dislike the K1, but I actually like the K2), but only on it's own merits. I don't think it's useless to everyone else. If I we're living in the States, I'd probably buy the K2 (whispernet and Amazon's pricing and availability are very tempting).

But I do think that on average, the Sony Reader is better. That's just me though. Everyone else is entitled to their opinion, and I welcome hearing it.

If someone here said that the Reader is crap, why would I be offended by that? Or even bothered? I'd debate it with them, try to convince them that it's a great device, but only for their sake. I already know it's amazing. If they still disagree, well... their loss. I certainly couldn't care less if the person continued to yell from the top of their lungs how the Reader is terrible, crap or whatever.

And no one here does anything even remotely similar, for the Reader or the Kindle. All I see is well-argumented debate, and that doesn't make me want to ignore anyone, quite the opposite... it makes me want to join in.
