Followup: I received several emails from Evernote confirming that Koreader was successfully registered to the service (one for every login attempt I would assume). Yet, on the device I cannot export to Evernote and my only option is to register again.
It seems the error that leads to the crash is on Koreader’s side and that it crashes right before “hearing back” from the Evernote server...
