I never noticed that and it has been almost a year now.
The 5.8.0 initial came from a "Day 0" release of the KT3 (mine).
Evidently they started producing the device (and testing in production) prior to building 5.8.1.1
But customer 5.8.1.1 was the first firmware version it shipped with.
