I can open them both with Calibre anyway in pub format then I could probably do the same on an ePub reader on my iPad then I could do some annotations.
What I couldn't do at the moment is to put them in my text indexing software (DevonThink) to perform text inline searches.
Need to see if I can found better files somewhere
