Update v.2.0 | 21 May 2017.

I have proofed the story collections against the first editions:

The Greater Inclination against the 1899 Charles Scribner’s Sons edition;

Crucial Instances against the 1901 Charles Scribner’s Sons edition;

The Descent of Man and other stories against the 1904 Charles Scribner’s Sons edition;

The Hermit and the Wild Woman and other stories against the 1908 Charles Scribner’s Sons edition;

Tales of Men and Ghosts against the 1910 Charles Scribner’s Sons edition;

Xingu, and other Stories against the 1916 Charles Scribner’s Sons edition;

Here and Beyond against the 1926 D. Appleton and Company edition;

Certain People against the 1930 D. Appleton and Company edition;

Human Nature against the 1933 D. Appleton and Company edition; and

The World Over against the 1936 D. Appleton and Company edition.

Thousands of mistakes and variants were corrected. The previously missing “The Permanent Wave” is now included in The World Over. And there’s a new cover (with regards to Saul Bass).
