Actually ours was off and on. They were all small. You got the big front that started to the east of us.
At 3, we were woken up by one just barely north and east of us. We could see the lightning. At 4, another one popped up in about the same location. At 5, the last one popped up right over us. None of them were more than 10 miles across.
You got the storm system, we got collisions. It was interesting to watch on the radar, clear then boom it's all yellow and red.
Glad you stayed safe, especially since you are close to that teeny tiny river that runs over banks every chance it gets.
We do live on a street that floods though not as bad as it used too since the city took advantage of the 2 year drought (no moisture whatsoever) a few years back and cleaned out all the drainage ditches.
That drought was so bad, lakes dried up and one city was found under a lake.
