As we know Jon is very partial to ADE. His point is mostly valid - I would tailor it slightly. Test the epub on the device that is predominant in your intended sales avenue. If you intend to sell primarily on apple, then test it in iBooks. If you sell on Amazon, test on a kindle, etc.
