Jumping in to say "Thanks" -- I had *.db excluded in my RoboCopy Job file since I had a lot of Icon_Cache.db's and Thumb_Cache/db's being copied all the time.
Reading this thread, I realized that I was excluding a very important file (metadata.db) so I changed my job file, and now I could recover my library from a major catastrophe
