Overdrive Kobo Aura One sync issues

I recently received a replacement for my faulty Kobo Aura One, and I'm running into sync issues with Overdrive that I wonder if somebody else has experience fixing. My first Kobo interfaced with Overdrive perfectly. It's a shame I had to return it for a defective backlight. The new KA1 has had a difficult time staying in sync with Overdrive. I've had to sign out and sign back in four times. In the first KA1, the books I borrowed automagically appeared in My Books. The new KA1 isn't so automagical. I have only five books synced to my KA1 now of the six I've borrowed. The new one I just borrowed has still not shown up after 30 minutes.

So my questions:

1) Is there a way to force sync Overdrive with my KA1? (short of signing out and signing back in as I've been doing?)
2) How long does the KA1 usually take to notice a new library loan?
3) Are there books that can't be loaned onto the KA1 for some DRM reason?
4) Is the problem I am running into avoided by doing all my Overdrive borrowing from the KA1 instead of using my desktop web browser as I usually do?

Anybody know? Thanks.

As a side note, I used ADE to side load a book onto my KA1, but even though the KA1 is authorized, the book refused to open. It's likely a different issue, but just in case it is related I offer it for your consideration.

Cheers,
