Something else to try is find a book in the Kobo store and save the preview, or add a free book. If these don't sync to your device, then it's a bigger problem. If they do sync, then it gives more info for support.

Unfortunately, when I tried to contact them today, they were already closed. However, I did check a preview, and was able to download that correctly, as well as a free book that I bought.
It seems to be something odd in how the library is interacting with the kobo. I will talk to them tomorrow and see what help I can get on it.
