I was under the impression that the strongest imx7 is the i.MX 7Dual with two cores (http://www.nxp.com/products/microcon...rs:IMX7-SERIES). This would suggest that the quad core here (if it's true) would have to be something else... Initially, I thought maybe mediatek, but their largest quad core chip seems to be 1.7ghz and beyond that they have hexa and octa cores only.
