Question Writing on iPad

The frustration of discovering that almost all my usual writing tools have either disappeared from the app store, or are subject to the "this wont work on future OS updates" notice, is driving me to absolute sobs.

I always need to have a writing tool, even if I don't write much. I detest Pages as it currently is, I find that the Writepad I paid for years ago has been updated and I have to pay again (but am not really that interested in handwriting anymore), and Writeroom which I loved, is no longer available and even if it was, would probably not work.

So.. what to do. I've decided since I have to start over, I'd have to pay for the best I can get which has the features I want.

A) I want to be able to use a dark theme
B) I want to make formatting bars and other on screen stuff disappear
C) I do NOT want to have to sign up to yet another site.
D) Must have Dropbox and/or iCloud integration
E) Must allow font type and size changes.

I think thats about it.

Anyone got any ideas? I'll check them all . And thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
