I've been trying various ones. I've settled on two to try out, ASUS File Manager which is really nicely done and File Expert HD which I've used in the past.

It's always had copy/move. Swipe left or right to switch to the other "window" then navigate to your location. Select files you want, then press the large -> or <- button at bottom right (new UI) or long press and select copy... or move... (old UI)

Solid supports smb, (s)ftp, and webdav and a bunch of file sharing services ( Dropbox, Google drive, one drive, etc).
After trying out a few, solid is the one I like best. The new overhauled UI is much improved.
No idea how well it works on e-ink, however. And it is a paid app (well worth the $2) so you need Google store or some other stores installed.
