A wanted man…

As far as Lamarr County is concerned, Chick Lowe is a dangerous outlaw, having killed an honest man in cold blood.

But Lowe is actually an under-cover lawman sent in by the Governor, as both hook and bait to capture the outlaw, Tamp Barons and his vicious gang.

Riding through the county, he witnesses a coach attack by the gang and as fate would have it, they left one survivor – the beautiful Kate Lane.

In return for rescuing and delivering her safe to Broken Wheel, she promises not to give away his identity.

But luck is just not on Lowe’s side.

Captured by Sheriff Pender of Broken Wheel, Lowe only manages to get away by the skin of his teeth.

And while Lowe is saved by Barons’ gang, Barons himself wants Lowe to do the impossible – go back and kill Kate Lane.

If he does so, then Lowe has his chance to take the gang down once and for all.

But Lowe’s a lawman and he’s not about to kill an innocent woman.
