The lack of paperback would depend on the publication date of the hardcover. Back in the day, hardcover always preceded paperback by at least a few months, and this book just came out a week ago.

I'm not going to look up the scenario of the book just yet, however, because I have a ton of currently owned, and/or started series that I want to get through first, including a reread of Dresden.
