Basically, all my sideloaded books were on the external card. Factory reset? Pull the external card and plug it back in afterwards. My KA1 does not quite have enough internal storage for my entire collection but I figure I would have 28 months worth of reading if I left ~200MB free. Leaving off my cookbook collection leaves me with 2.4GB free though that took a bit of work in Calibre to separate my library into 3 segments (my books, my wife's books and cook books).
