I don't like the whole premise.

To make sure that the title accurately reflected the premise of the book, I checked the book description. I wish to quote this: "Positive emotions alone are not enough. Anger makes us creative, selfishness makes us brave . . . ."

I'm not saying that I haven't always suppressed my dark side, even here on MobileRead, but we don't need people telling us to unleash some or all of our dark side, especially on other people, even for the purpose of making us successful. I'm sure that the author doesn't/wouldn't appreciate that being done to him.

We need a nicer, kinder world. And this book doesn't help things.
