Is it possible that you've been drinking a little bit too much of it? All of my suggestions had to do with condiments (as though "mayo" meant mayonnaise). However, come to think of it, it might be a condiment in west Texas . . . .

It's interesting that you used "whiskey." I think that it is just as correct in English, though maybe not as common, to use "whisky."

I bought a hardback book fairly recently. It dealt with that, in one or two of the first few pages. I've forgotten all that I read, except maybe that point.

I'm a teetotaler, but I'm interested in whiskey/whisky as a subject. Been on a tour of Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Watched them make the wooden, oak barrels. Saw the big spring (it wouldn't be big by Florida standards. But I digress), from which supposedly Jack Daniels is made (you want the stuff that makes you stone drunk to be made from healthy ingredients, don't you?) It was pretty cool. All except the smell of the mash, in the distillery part of the factory. I don't know why they take up up there; it might turn someone against drinking the stuff . . . .
