Most ebooks I buy are from Webscription (
www.webscription.net), with Fictionwise in second place. FW has a lot of books I can't get from Baen and Webscription, like Sarah Hoyt's Magical British Empire series. I do buy direct from Steve Jordan. (

Are your books printed in paper format ? Who by ? Do you own the e-rights ? If so, you might want to approach Arnold at Baen's bar (bar.baen.com) about putting your books up on Webscription.

Nothing for a shortstory writer, but for a novelist...sheesh, Tolkein wouldn't qualify under their standards!
And they want exclusive rights for five years. Sheesh.
Anyway...do any of you buy directly from authors? And if so, could you give some examples so I can check them out?
And do any online stores other than Kindle carry original work? They all seem interested only in NY's output.
