Has anyone else received an email from Amazon asking you to update the Amazon Appstore on your device? I have five android devices right now and they don't tell me which one. The link at the bottom of the email sends me to the general Amazon help. I might type all this here but I won't do it for the Amazon help page because there will be too many emails back and forth probably with no resolution.

We've made an important update to the Amazon app for Android. To ensure your apps are up-to-date and continue functioning properly, update the Amazon mobile shopping app on your device and then use the "update all" option from within the app to update apps previously downloaded from the Amazon Appstore.
Step one: Verify whether you have the latest version of Amazon Appstore app installed and update it if necessary:
1. Launch the Amazon Appstore app.
2. Tap on the Menu icon in the upper left corner.
3. Scroll down and select Settings.
4. Tap on Version and Release Notes.
5. Tap on Check for Update.
4. If an update is available, please follow the update install instructions.
Step two: Follow the instructions below to update the apps you've downloaded from Amazon Appstore:
1. Launch the Amazon Appstore app.
2. Tap on the Menu icon in the upper left corner.
3. Select My Apps and tap on Updates.
4. Tap Update All or choose to update each app individually---if you are updating a lot of apps, we recommend you connect to Wi-Fi first.
