Annotation
Paris, the beginning of the twentieth century. A curious researcher hears the words of Vincent MacDonald, whose shadow in the history created the space for many hoaxes and speculations. The researcher asks the remarkable character about past events that led him to the interpretation of dreams, his heavy burden. Vincent conducts the line of events, which clearly and calmly recalls the beginning of his mystical journeys when he was still a banker, and his charming Eliza was alive. Her strange death causes him to quit banking and seek answers from questionable characters that come to him in a dream.
After a long search, Vincent falls into a deep sleep. A dream gives him a meeting with a special old man who says that he invaded the sleep illegally and asks for help. The old man promises a secret of penetration into the dream of another person and obligations to give something in return.
